Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at University of Suffolk

Environmental of University is really good but I think international and national students should study together in the same class for the same course, that might be increase the knowledge about the country circumstances and love. In this way international student share their thoughts and ideas with national as well as it introduce culture awareness. It also help to increase businesses between more than 2 national with different thoughts. Thanks a lot read full review

My course team are brilliant and are incredibly supportive, and I felt welcomed onto the course straight away. The location on the waterfront is beautiful! I love the library and find it an inviting place to study. read full review
As a mature student I thought I might feel out of place. However there is a real mix of ages and plenty of overseas students also. The campus could be improved with a live music scene and a student bar. read full review
Has excellent facilities and dedicated lectures who work tirelessly to meet the demands of students and the university visions and mission.
There is also readily available support from non teaching subordinates which makes it easier for students to access all the resources required.
There is plenty of all other resources necessary for studying and this makes it easier for students to learn and explore more.
I recommend for refreshment facilities that can entertain students at there free time, ie other activities apart from class work to enlighten students. read full review

UNIVERSITY OF SUFFOLK

Student Reviewer - November 2024

Great location on the waterfront; dedicated teaching staff; campus layout is poorly thought-out: teaching buildings are scattered about and intermingled with public buildings/spaces; no green spaces - it's a concrete desert! The computing campus is a 25-minute drive from the main campus so is difficult to access. read full review
The best aspects are the expertise displayed by lecturers and the fact the course itself is really interesting. I love the Waterfront building for its location, but because I am not local to Ipswich it can be quite difficult to travel regularly because of reliance on trains, which are often cancelled or not running. The student union is a great place to hang out with friends and course mates, and I love the café in the Waterfront building and the prices are very reasonable. The facilities are good too, including the IT, seminar and X-ray rooms.

The only negative aspect for me personally is the travel time, although I recognise that is my own personal fault for living so far away. I can’t comment much on the student life, but from the regular emails and communications there are always events going on that allow students to connect, which is very good. read full review
Adequate facilities materials and human resources. Great and quality learning. Very supportive and person - centered support. We need more space in terms of land space. read full review
The University of Suffolk offers an exceptional educational experience, with its wonderful facilities and highly supportive staff standing out as key strengths. The teaching quality is excellent, with knowledgeable lecturers who are passionate about their fields and committed to student success.

The campus itself provides a welcoming and modern environment conducive to learning and personal growth. The library and study spaces are well-equipped, and there’s a strong emphasis on fostering a vibrant academic community.

However, one area where improvement is needed is the IT system, particularly in relation to the attendance tracking system. Occasional glitches and inefficiencies can cause inconvenience to students and staff. Addressing these challenges would significantly enhance the overall experience and streamline administrative processes.

Overall, the University of Suffolk is a great choice for anyone seeking quality education and an inspiring learning environment, with only minor areas for improvement.

It is located in a nice place and mostly have a moderate weather. The teachers are supportive and responsive but lacks much of extracurricular activities. The student engagement in leisure and fun activities is not that great but thumbs up for the environment . The town is peaceful and it would be great if university have a wider range of job opportunities. read full review
