Course info

This activity draws together professors and researchers from the disciplines of political theory and political institutions, public policy and health policy, organisational theory and management and applied sociology. Health policy and governance research includes comparative and international health studies, studies of the health policy making and implementation process and public health policy (especially multi-sectoral and multi-organisational collaboration to address health inequalities). Applied governance includes different structures, institutions and incentives geared to reforming health services and to monitoring quality. Health services management includes work on managed clinical networks, partnerships and institutional change, patient, public and community involvement, and action research.
