Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at Edge Hill University

The student support from staff is amazing at Edge Hill. They are very accepting and knowledgeable on how to promote student wellbeing. They also treat all people with diverse needs with respect.
I think my experience could be improved through more communication between staff in different offices, departments, and facilities for a smoother journey. read full review
Best: Campus is love;y, library facilities very good

Worst: From writing essays I found researching difficult as the uni doesn't seem to subscribe to as many academic journals, etc read full review
The campus is beautiful, but the location is an issue - particularly due to the inadequate parking facilities. I feel there is some inconsistency between departments in the support provided by staff - other subjects receive a more tailored and supported approach to their respective subjects. read full review
The past three years have been phenomenal. I have enjoyed every minute of it. The PGR programme provided has been so interested and invaluable and the support from every member of staff is beyond amazing. I have had so many opportunities to go to conferences and summer courses, and have been supported emotionally, academically and even financially. I cannot say a bad word against it. My experience has been all highs and no lows. read full review
Diverse and inclusive, offers many opportunities to get involved in university life beyond your course. Only rated lower due to the student union being closed for renovation throughout the majority of my studies, I’m sure when the new SU is up and running it will be great. read full review
