EDGE HILL UNIVERSITY

Elizabeth - February 2025

I did my undergraduate degree at Edge hill university and loved it so much I decided to stay to do a masters degree. I love that campus is like a little village that feels like home away from home. The facilities are amazing and only keep getting better, especially the library. The staff are so supportive and are always there for any support that I may need. The courses are well organised and I enjoy the features of learning edge as it makes it easy to catch up work and is especially useful for those with additional learning needs. I would recommend this university to anyone considering higher education read full review

EDGE HILL UNIVERSITY

The staff and academics delivering my course are extremely knowledgeable and provide students with fantastic guidance during course lectures and constructive feedback when marking assignments. As a student alongside work - I do not get a lot of time to engage with extracurricular activity as a student so struggle to comment on what is available to students with regards to additional activity beyond the course. Library and learning facilities for my course are also superb. My biggest disappointment lies with the provision of student fun social spaces - the new student union building does not act as a space for fun or as a space for study which is very disappointing as it is a new building and should be a much better student space. read full review
I really enjoy my course, the lecturers are passionate and always want students to get the most out of their lectures. I can’t fault the teaching or course structure.
My only negative about the university is the car parking. read full review
Facilities and environment make this University an excellent study space. Plenty of resources available to guide you to being a successful student. read full review
Best aspects: the campus feels very superior and community-focused
Worst: teaching quality varies, poor communication between staff within this course, lack of appropriate extra curricular activities, eg they offered a free mental health first aid course then said we couldn’t do it because it clashed with lessons read full review
