Edge Hill lecturers are very supportive, they are approachable and knowledgeable. Guidance and feedback is always clear from each lecturer and they always bring experiences of teaching to make the learning feel relatable and relevant. The modules are well organised, and assessments are varied from essays, presentations and group work. The content reflects on current research and relevant to practice.

Edge Hill also have a strong student support service, which is easy accessible. As well as excellent facilities around campus .

My favourite thing about Edge Hill University, having completed my undergrad and am currently doing my masters here, is the scenery. It is a truly beautiful campus, and you often see a Mama Duck and her ducklings in the summer, with bunnies, and all sorts of wildlife. There's even campus cats! We have a beautiful man made beach, and the fountains in the lakes are my favourite. The facilities are stunning, and my department are lovely.

I no longer live on campus, as a mature student, but there have been many renovations since I was last on campus during my undergraduate degree, including a brand new Students Union, as well as new accommodation. Personally, one of my worst experiences is the manure that is spread in the fields around the uni, but of course this is not the university's fault and I understand why this is done to support farmers! read full review

From the excellent facilities to the strong support system and nature-driven environment, choosing Edge Hill University was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The experience has shaped my perspective and deepened my passion for innovation, which is a core aspect of my profession. Support was always within reach, and the quality of teaching made a lasting impact, fueling my enthusiasm for Android development. This, in turn, inspired me to start a product with a friend—one we hope to bring to the public in the coming years. The location isn't at the heart of the city, so commuting to school was a bit challenging for me. read full review

I find the amount of support from academic to international and student representative support so immense and it made coping and adjusting to the new environment very easy.

The uniskills and library services here is top notch and staff here are very helpful and give guidance when needed.

One thing that can be improved is creating more part time job opportunities for students especially international students.
