Heriot Watt University is one of the best institutions in the world. The teaching facilities are excellent. The lecturers are very hardworking and dedicated to their work. The hitech teaching facilities are very commendable.

The lecture theatres were equipped with 21st century gadgets that stimulates learning and teaching processes.

The students’ services and other units detailed to resolve issues with registration and e -visa services does their work with utmost professional and ethical practices.

The supermarket within the university possesses items ranging from writing materials and groceries at affordable prices.

Lecturer-student relationships is well defined on learning and teaching professional line. Lecturers respond to e-mails without delay and treat students well with the will full mind of assistance.

The students union too assists to provide a conducive learning environment for students with lots of activities that ensures games and fun to make HWU a lovely and memorable place to be always.

There is provision of part time job for students on LEARNING AND EARNING schemes and many students earn stipends doing this programme to support their education.

The only challenge I have and some of my friends is the issue of locating lecture venues before lectures and we are trying to make use of our google map.

I recommend HWU for any anticipating students that values quality education. read full review

The moment I first entered my university, it genuinely felt like a dream—and it still does! Heriot-Watt Edinburgh is truly the best place to study. The academic environment here is nothing short of inspiring. I've joined so many societies and clubs, and they’ve been incredibly helpful in many ways, but it’s the education that truly stands out. The professors here are not only experienced but are leaders in their fields, bringing cutting-edge knowledge and real-world expertise into the classroom. The curriculum is challenging yet rewarding, and the resources available for learning are exceptional. I feel constantly supported in my academic journey, whether it's through dedicated faculty or the state-of-the-art facilities. I’ve gained so much more than just knowledge; I’ve gained a deeper understanding of my field and am constantly motivated to push myself further.

Beyond the academics, the faculty is supportive and caring, and whether it’s the Student Union or the Student Well-being services, I’m in love with all the facilities. I was homesick and overwhelmed, wrapped in a blanket of uncertainty, but the Student Well-being team and my personal tutor have been a great help! All in all, Heriot-Watt offers a holistic academic experience that I couldn’t have asked for more. read full review

Hello people,

Firstly, the top notch part of the university is you can be yourself completely irrespective of any religion or background you coming from.
Secondly, the first day is always scary and weird but the Student service and the students their was very helpful in enrolment to all the query's.
Thirdly, being a food blogger i always hog onto the best hygienic food which the university have so many options to provide.
Fourthly, the beauty of the lake , surrounding is so surreal we just forget that it's a university.

As you know every good side have a bad side too .
Although so many people keep saying not to form racism groups but yet it's been seen. Also Their is not much interaction of all the student's in class which gets at a way worst.
It would be good if you have some plays or fun interaction among the class so that everyone opens up with each other.
