Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at University of Birmingham

The University of Birmingham has state of the art facilities, ample of study spaces, and a good library. Apart from facilities the professors are really knowledgeable and class rooms have a range of interactive learning sessions and workshops which makes learning new concepts really interesting. It would have been preferred and better if the size of class (No of students) in a course, specially like mine MSc Advanced Engineering Management would be less, there are about 240 students approximately for this course, while coming to this course I was expecting just about 30-35 people in this course, which too being top scorers or a bit competitive for admission, but after coming I discovered people with average scores are also present. Having such a high number of students in a class makes the hampers the chances of employability and makes even finding part time jobs nearly impossible. read full review
Lecturers make it feel like an inviting experience and treated like an adult and they make the course broad so that it can capture everyone’s interests and are open to feedback.

It could be improved by improving the services - guild advice for example take 3-5 working days when some people need help now. More help readily available in person not just via email and a few days wait read full review
The location is not that convenient read full review
