Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at University of Warwick

UNIVERSITY OF WARWICK

Shardul - October 2024

The campus of Uni of Warwick is too good amd well maintained. The location is good and peaceful but there should have been some huge shopping centres for students living at campus. Crowd is good and you can find people of different nationalities living together here. The college professors are well experienced and quite professional. You will definitely feel that your are studying in one of the top universities in UK read full review
It’s everything and more than I expected.

The best is the view of the university. Maybe provide more data analysis courses read full review
Best: great societies which are getting more diverse by the day and cater for specific interests. Well run events and friendly atmosphere, feels very accepting. I've come to be much more of mine own person here.

Module selections are very flexible and allow you to take otherwise unusual options. Lecturers are very good and the course is engaging.

Worst: the SU itself charges a ridiculous amount of money for a lot of society things, and provides a lot of red tape just to set up a place for people to hang out. Campus food and items are extremely expensive for small portions because the shops know we don't have anywhere to go. Many shop brands aren't close and you'll have to travel to neighbouring towns or even Birmingham for it.

If you are not staying in Canley, Cannon Park, or on campus, you'll have to commute from quite far away. Buses to Leamington especially are often extremely packed and unreliable. read full review

UNIVERSITY OF WARWICK

Aditya - October 2024

At Warwick, I really appreciated the vibrant campus life and the strong sense of community. Being part of diverse societies and engaging in extracurriculars made my experience feel rich and fulfilling. The academic environment was stimulating, with inspiring lecturers and challenging coursework.

However, I did find the workload quite intense at times, which could be overwhelming. There were moments when the pressure felt really high, and that competitiveness among peers added to the stress. Also, while the campus itself is beautiful, I sometimes missed the buzz of a city, feeling a bit isolated in that regard. Overall, it was a rewarding experience, but not without its challenges. read full review
It’s a place where you feel safe but it’s a bit hard to make new friends when you don’t really go to parties. In terms of study it’s a very good place to study. read full review
Best experience would be taking part in variety of societies.
Bad experience would be to have to walk an hour to the train station or take a bus which has an unpredictable schedule. read full review
Good place :) read full review
Warwick has an Amazing atmosphere for students to feel supported and there are numerous events and opportunities available for students to engage with career services such as through networking events and information sessions. This prevents the focus from being fully academic. An aspect that could be improved on is the communication of module timings and the freedom for students to choose their module or seminar timings on a first come first serve basis. As an exchange student from Canada where we choose our own module and seminar times and have the liberty to pick the days and times, I think this system works better in terms of allowing freedom as well as motivation for students to attend the class times they picked rather than pre decided times read full review
