Best thing about the course is the contents. The accommodation is decent value as it's not the best quality. The uni facilities are great. Needs a communal area in St Elizabeth's hall! Good uni. Had a good time so far. read full review
Lecturers I easy to get hold of. Interesting modules on my course. And is good and close and also convenient. Lecturers are really supportive and motivational. To give more information to teaching outside of degrees like primary education. Overall I'm really enjoying. read full review

I'm enjoying my time at Winchester University but it's a small and sleepytown. I would like more to do with academics rather than drinks read full review

Education studies

UNIVERSITY OF WINCHESTER

Student Reviewer - February 2015

Really good course content content and specialist subject lecturers. There's not enough being done to keep students quiet at halls. Not enough is done to foster/accommodate the needs of people with disabilities and multifaith. Students union: all they care about is bop, flirt, detention and making money. Winchester University has a long way to go in comparison to other universities. read full review
Pros: small, interconnected community.Cons: call on the amount of students; desire for an academic environment. read full review

The lecturers on my course are engaging about topics that it feels like you don't need to be there and seminars seem pointless. That's a great fun and sociable atmosphere in our accommodation. Need a communal area and housing to be a bit more understanding. The facilities need better attention to the needs of the students overall I love the people that some aspects that need improvement read full review

Fashion: media and marketing

UNIVERSITY OF WINCHESTER

Student Reviewer - February 2015

Winchester University is pretty good. The city is a bit dull though. I get a lot of exposure to the fashion industry on my course. I think the job prospects are fair. We get a lot of practical experience. The student union throw mediocre parties. But they are really helpful. The University facilities could be better they could get better heaters, more computers in the library and more comfy chairs perhaps. read full review

Primary Education

UNIVERSITY OF WINCHESTER

Student Reviewer - February 2015

The lecturers have a very in depth knowledge of their subject. I love the accommodation- though it's quite pricey. Winchester town has good variety of shops and a community atmosphere. Facilities are good- there's always a good amount of space to work in. I personally haven't joine any clubs/societies but I think they're good for some people. I think the SU provides a good amount of events for all. The uni gives support when you need it. I'm really enjoying my time here- the course sets you up to successfully get a job. The university has supported me to improve and succeed. read full review

UNIVERSITY OF WINCHESTER

Student Reviewer - February 2015

My course is preparing me for after graduation with placements, extra curricular things and simple career, creative advice. The facilities are brilliant and accessible. However it would be nice if drama students could book rooms outside of PAs with more ease. read full review

The lecturers are extremely supportive, helpful and willing to provide us with advice. The city is beautiful I love the friendly atmosphere. I'm dyslexic and there was not much support offered because of how busy they are. Overall it's been an amazing experience so far. read full review
