MSc Nursing (Child)

EDGE HILL UNIVERSITY

Student Reviewer - January 2023

Love the actual course , but I started in January and the organisation for my cohort is awful. Everything is always left last minute. They told us our first placement would start in April but it got pushed back to august because they didn’t allocate us places in time.
Academic support from the uni itself is ok but from the course lectures you get left in the dark a bit. Mostly still online lectures .
Any organisation with assessments and simulated practice is very last minute and they expect you to drop everything for their bad organisation skills. Lectures also don’t allow drafts from any written work????
The uni itself is in the middle of nowhere so nightlife is terrible , but it’s still 30 min from
liverpool. If you choose to do nursing at this uni just be prepared to have no breaks for the entire time you are there. I wish I went to a different uni but I’m too far in now. read full review

MSc Conservation Management

EDGE HILL UNIVERSITY

Student Reviewer - December 2022

Really nice area to study as the campus is very green, there is a brand new library and the is a woodland 5min away. The only downside is that the town itself is not great for freshers due to the lack of places to go out. The taxi journeys to and from Liveprool when trains are not running are expensive. read full review
