The course is a good mixture of business and computing. Job prospects when I graduate will hopefully be good, as we get placements and the support services seem really on top of all this. We get help on the course when needed, and it is social too, I have made great friends here. Clubs and societies - we need more information, they aren't really well advertised. read full review

The course is only one year, but I am enjoying it, I have made good friends, and the university facilities are really good (minus lack of cash machines around campus), we have a wide range of online journals which we can access. The student union is highly accessable and high profile. The learning support here and support services have been great. The careers dept is really supportive too. read full review

I enjoy living and studying at edgehill because there is always a lively and welcoming atsmophere around campus. The union is good - I think that they do a really good job, and they're always organzing events around campus. There is support for absolutely everything no matter what people need - we have it here. I think job prospects are good after I graduate as I will have good links to the industry as we have a great careers dept here. I love the production side of my course where I get to work other people to film projects. I currently live in halls - and i love it - everyone is so friendly - although noise level can get out of control. There is not much to do in ORmskirk, there are a few nice pubs but thats about it. The university facilities are great - there is everyhting I need and it is all in one location which is handy and makes work easy. I haven't joined any clubs or societies but there are lots on offer especially for sports. read full review

I have met some amazing people here, and I can't wait for 3rd year to come. I love the student union it is all about cheap drinks and good events. We have great support services, counselling, advice and lots of cake sales too. I love mmy course and the seminars are helpful and consolidating the knowledge from the lectures. The lecturers always have time to answer questions and usually have good answer. The city life is great, lots of museums, and really close to Liverpool which is awesome. I can't really comment on clubs and nightlife as i don't go out to them. CLubs and societies are not friendly to students who do not live on campus though, too late at night so I can't get home in time and it makes public transport hard. read full review

I LOVE IT! On my course I am going on an 8 week school based placement, the last placement I was on everyone was lovely. It seems like it gets better organised each year (the course). The facilities here are socialable, everyone is dead friendly and we have air-con in the library and fast PCs. City life has lots of shopping. Support services are brilliant especially with academic writing (I am DYslexic) read full review

It is all dead fun here. I love the sports facilities here - the gym is boss. The accommodation on campus and in the town are good value too , pub is awesome too , the town has great pubs. Go edgehill! read full review

Overall it has been a good experience here. My course is currently structured with 2 placement days per week which will help my future job prospects and the understanding of the field I am studying . However the course in general is un-organised, some lecturers are very helpful, and have great knowledge of the subject area. I would comment to be in halls of residence on campus in first year. It is a bit expensive, but worth it, and it is good value for what you get, and the cleanliness. Housing - not enough and alot of the student houses are old and run down. The university is a short walk from Ormskirk city centre (town centre). The shopping is great, and the nightlife is ok, but Liverpool is much better. Library needs to be bigger to cater to the growing needs and growing amount of students. The support services at the university support applications for PGCE very well and strongly. Recommended. read full review
