It is great overall, great time, great lectures, great friends, great student union. I don't agree with the proposed reshuffling of the student union next though. Everything is simple support wise here as it is all in one building. We have loads of societies every sport you can think of and loads more such as Dr Who , film society and charity ones too. Ormskirk isn't a city - go to liverpool for nightlife. Accommodation is great value for money. read full review

I did my UG here, and now I am doing my PG so clearly I like it. The course is great, lots of placements, lots of guidance, and lots of experience to be gained. I am back in halls doing my PG, it is very good value for money. Small town though, not a great night life. read full review

I enjoy my university time so far. It has a very friendly atmosphere. Full of nice people. You make awesome friends. The student support team had support for absolutely everything. I just haven't used it - but it is there when you need it. I am hoping to get a good job out of university but who knows at this point. The union can be helpful, they are organised. The schedule for my course is the best part. The city is great - shop, eat , drinks. read full review

Tutors on my course are very supportive, and we have a great range of topics. I have met loads of new people here and made loads of friends. The accommodation is really good value for money, but the social living areas could be bigger and a sofa would be nice. City life - what city? Ormskirk is so boring there is nothing to do here and all the clubs and pubs shut early. read full review

I am enjoying my unviersity experience so far. I am really enjoying my course. I would recommend it. It is a good time table, and I have met lots of people. I live at home but if you move out of home to come here, you have lots of options for accommodation which looks nice. We lack societies which aren't sporting ...facilities are good, and the SU and library are helpful as are all the support team here. read full review

I love the people here, and i have strongly mixed feelings regarding my course, although I do enjoy the labs. The accommodation is expensive on campus, but some of it is catered which is a bonus. City life is nothing, as there is nothing here. We pay 9k a year but we must pay even more to use the facilities, its stupid. read full review

Avoid the accommodation, it is highly over priced for what it is. I like my course, I find it really interesting, the library has plenty of books for the modules, but a few more would be good. The lectures are responsive and helpful, good teaching quality. read full review
