Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at Queen Mary University of London

I think the faculty and campus are really good which makes it a healthy environment to study. Improvements can be made by adding a few more activities for students to engage in. Like swimming pool or tennis court read full review
My course is great, I really enjoy it and the staff and students are always kind and helpful. The campus has some good outlets, like the Zero Waste Shop. It isn’t as central as other London Universities so it isn’t as exciting as being in the centre of London. Otherwise facilities are good and job opportunities are good read full review
The best thing about the Queen Mary University of London is the learning environment they provide. The professors and the demonstrators are actively helping you out.

One thing that I don’t like about the university is that the administration/school takes a lot of time to respond to your queries. This needs to be improved. read full review

Although the tuition fees does not add up to the quality of education provided, Queen Mary provides a campus life and facilities that make it a good place to study.

The access to different libraries and variety of support provided to students in the form of social activities, discounts and group activities provide a good university experience. read full review

QMUL being located just a 15 min tube ride away from Central London makes it one of the most amazing places to study in. My favourite part about Queen Mary is that it is a campus based university unlike LSE, KCL etc. The faculty is top notch and the admin is extremely supportive and helpful. The campus is beautiful with a mix of old and new buildings. The Graduate Centre is my favourite building with the view of Central London and Canary Wharf from it’s top floor. There are a lot of study spaces that can be used for either quiet study or group study.
One of the best things about the campus is the canal-side where the Regents Canal runs through. You can grab your lunch or coffee from the ground cafe or Curve and then enjoy it by the canal.
The School of Business and Management is located in the Bancroft building which is one of the oldest and not very modern buildings. I would like to see a new building for SBM or a renovated Bancroft building in the future. Overall it’s a great experience being an international student and I would recommend Queen Mary to everyone.

Student Reviewer - December 2019

My overall opinion is that the university has provided a course very different to what most the students expected. In any other industry that would be illegal. read full review
