Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at The University of Law

It's a good university in terms of staff and tutors, however the university on a whole lacks organisation and the website which is how most of us learn is rubbish. read full review
Very good, I have settled in well. The course is very practical and is well taught by expert tutors. I would recommend doing it on a part time basis as this has made it feel more manageable. read full review
Uni of Law offers a good LPC course. All the tutors are helpful and approachable. So are the staff. They do have plenty career events and also arrange individual career sessions. read full review
Appalling. Do not go to this University. Absolute rip off. First of all I was released results much earlier than I should have due to an admin error, I was informed others are paying less course fees to me due to negotiation????? And the feedback on exams is poor, they don't even let you see your paper or explain properly what went wrong read full review
Positive- I get to learn a lot of peers and tutors; there is a variety of activities and opportunities to develop.
I would urge people to get involved in more activities and run for various student rep positions.
There are fantastic opportunities to do pro-bono work. read full review
I like that class sizes are smaller and overall I like how we are taught. They just need to improve their facilities. It is in a very good location and is easy to get to. read full review

Been here just over 2 months for my LPC, loving it so far. The course is well structured, the tutors are really friendly and you can always go to them if you have any questions. They will be more than happy to help. I would strongly recommend ULaw for doing an LPC. read full review

Legal Practice Course LPC

THE UNIVERSITY OF LAW

Student Reviewer - November 2019

Good.

Take advantage of UoL facilities and the things they do to help you.

Take advantage of using Lexis Nexis and Westlaw.

Take advantage of the fact they have a library that's open 7.30am-10pm. Most LPC providers don't offer that. read full review
I am enjoying this experience, but there aren't many societies because the campus is quite small. The experience would be better if there were sports teams or this was encouraged more. read full review
