MA Law

THE UNIVERSITY OF LAW

I Hughes - February 2019

love it, really friendly campus and very willing to help. Employability is fantastic and generally the teaching is excellent. I would happily do my LPC here.... read full review
No complaints so far. However, perhaps the teaching methods could be improved - as of now just a lot of material thrown at us and not enough time to go over it. read full review
Content but not overly exciting. Given that the university is located in central London, don't spend too much time on campus and explore what the city has to offer. read full review
Good, although not much of a community. The workshops are good and well structured but it would be great if we had a bit more help as a lot of each workshop is wasted sitting there not knowing what is going on. The assessments are poorly written and often have mistakes in. results take a ridiculously long time to come through. read full review

MA Law

THE UNIVERSITY OF LAW

Harriet - February 2019

I left a career in education to retrain in law. From the very first contact with ULaw to induction, starting my course, meeting new friends and learning so much new content, I have been really happy throughout. I really feel that the University is switched on to what students want and why, they are always asking for feedback and checking out views and opinions of students. I really enjoy the academic side of the course and feel very lucky to have met some lovely new friends and also great tutors. read full review
Really good, the only negative I have is how late our timetable was released. When trying to juggle part time work around the course, the University wasn't very accommodating in this, leaving me with class/work clashes. read full review
My overall experience at the University of Law, Leeds campus is very much a positive one. The atmosphere around the campus is always very positive, the standard of teaching and support is extremely high, the resources provided (such as free textbooks) are very supportive and helpful and the aim to ensure that the graduated students find their dream job is a huge focus read full review
Time is going by really quickly so it has been very busy for me yet have learned a lot along the way. University experience is the best as it teaches you a lot! read full review
The last two years have flown by! I see my law degree as an asset to help me advance in my career faster once I have finished training. I'm glad that my university has readied me for this next step. read full review

It has been great. I am a student ambassador and love to really promote the university of law as I believe it is an excellent place to study. They prepare you for life as a trainee solicitor. read full review
