There is a disparity between applied practices compared to traditional academic curriculum. It's good the ability to combine various modules. The library is good but access to the kitchen or canteen space would be appreciated. Currently there is no seating area in the canteen unless you buy the food there. The student union do not reach out to students much. They need to identify ways to engage students other than just emails. read full review

Overall my experience has been good at Birkbeck University. Definitely the best thing about it is the course and passion the lecturers have in teaching it. The toilets are disgusting and need to be replaced. The student union is excellent. read full review

Overall I am happy here at Birkbeck University. The students are good and the lecturers are excellent especially Stan and Sue. I love living and working in London as I like going shopping, to the theatre and to the cinema. The fish and chips are great at the student union. I am doing an MA in the evening and it makes it harder to make friends. I very much like the content of the course. London is way too expensive. I do like going out for meals, drinks and visiting art galleries. I don't think we have any clubs and societies here. The student union helps students getting together. read full review

It is good here at Birkbeck I can't complain. The fact is that it's an evening study university. I like doing many things in London town although I haven't figured my favourite yet. I'm very happy with what is provided the University in way of facilities. read full review
