Good part: The institution provides an excellent learning environment, offering extensive resources and support in language acquisition, subject-specific studies, skills development, and career guidance. The staff are exceptionally courteous and demonstrate great patience when addressing enquiries. In addition, the school organises numerous activities such as free lunches, library learning sessions, and Christmas celebrations. These provide us all with opportunities to gather and get to know one another.
Bad part: Perhaps owing to the location of the institution, the range of employment opportunities available is somewhat limited, though this is hardly a significant drawback—it provides an ideal environment for focused study, which greatly benefits research endeavours! read full review

I have researched a lot before applying for this universirty. It stands in one of the tops university in UK. All the staff of university are very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The univeristy care for all the students, their safety and welbeing. So many events to cheer up all the students. For career information, housing, welbeing, they have so many facilities. Also providing extra classes . The professors there are so well educated and always helpful. They are always ready to help for any doubts and guidance. Its being almost two months now there, but it doesnot feel like away from home all thanks to university. read full review
I love my course and supervisor although it’s a lot of money for distance learning. All communication is geared towards on-site students- it is often difficult to make sense of and navigate how information is applicable for me as a distance learner. That said, online study days are great and I have attended some interesting training modules on Inkpath. read full review

I love the location of the uni — a lovely campus not too far from the city centre where I can have all I need; but this can also be a problem— sometimes it is far too quiet and sometimes even distressing. read full review
The campus, and the facilities are the best things here on campus. Lots to do everyday on campus besides studies. Also the staff and people are welcoming. Only con would be appointments for some services could be improved as it is booked on most days, although understandable due to the amount of students on campus. read full review
The MA Language and Linguistics programme has great teaching, resources and support, and I’m very happy with my academic experience.

The students’ union seems active, but as a postgraduate I feel its events and communication are mainly geared towards undergraduates, so the link with postgraduates could be stronger. read full review
Best: the people are friendly, kind and fun.

Worst: the buses to uni are always packed and the road if full of traffic constantly. There needs to be another option.

There is nowhere to live. Rent is too expensive and the only available options are horrible.

The library is too busy.

They need to help disabled students more.

It would be great if it could make more money for nicer buildings and facilities and treats for staff and students. read full review
