Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at University of Bath

As an international student, I really appreciated the pre-sessisonal activities that introduced us to life on campus.Sessions on what to bring and what not to bring, and how to prepare helped me understand the kind of University I was joining even before I arrived. This made the transition much smoother and reassuring. The areas I feel could be improved is communication at the beginning of the term,as clearer and more timely information would help new students settle in more easily. The other thing is that they should allow the use of cash at the campus ,most restaurants do not receive cash and this was challenging for International students as some of our cards had not been working read full review

UNIVERSITY OF BATH

Aldeen - December 2025

My experience at the University of Bath has been really positive. The academic excellence and the quality of teaching are outstanding, and the faculty are genuinely supportive, knowledgeable, and approachable. There are also so many opportunities to get involved from societies and workshops to events and career activities which makes student life feel really engaging and well-rounded.

On top of that, the university provides strong support services, whether it’s academic guidance, wellbeing support, or help preparing for careers. The community feels welcoming and collaborative, which really helped me settle in and make the most of my studies.

The biggest challenge is definitely the cost of living in Bath. It’s a beautiful city, but also very expensive, which can make it difficult for many students to access affordable housing, food, and social activities. More affordable accommodation options or financial support initiatives would make a huge difference. read full review

UNIVERSITY OF BATH

Arpan - December 2025

The University of Bath is a great place to study because of its strong academics, inclusive community, and excellent campus facilities.
It could be improved by expanding study spaces during busy periods. read full review
The university has a lot of student groups, clubs and teams which is amazing. The campus is in the outskirts of the city but the centre is very easy to reach. University higher ups could be a bit more aware of PhD students and their importance rather than glazing over them and treating them as undergrads but otherwise, everything is great! read full review
