Cosy campus and a good experience. Big change if youre coming here from a council estate in the city.. The university is great, however the accommodation is a reason for concern, you have to move right out of town after your first year. read full review

Excellent courses with passionate lecturers who are experts in their field. Small friendly town which has a campus feel. read full review
Overall an excellent place to study and live for 4 years, it shall be very sad to leave. It is certainly fair to add that the university's few faults are either out of their control (housing prices), or common with other British Universities (contact time, rubbish Union etc.). read full review
St. Andrews is small but special. The students and university have made an effort to provide extremely diverse social and extracurricular opportunities for students to make the most out of their time here. Classes at St. Andrews are small and teaching is intense but well organized and achievement focussed. Living and learning in St. Andrews means being part of a strong, welcoming, and very international community and the university and its student are truly the only thing that matters in this town - apart maybe from golf. read full review

Not so much city entertainment, as we only got a small and tranquil town. But great read full review
I love St Andrews, but I feel that I have had a lucky experience as I live in university accommodation in the centre of town so don't have to experience a long commute or crippling rent. I am also the type of person that prefers a night in the pub, going to the cinema or a house party to a proper night out clubbing, so I don't mind that St Andrews is very small and doesn't have all the trappings of a large city. read full review
The town is beautiful but for me the classes are a bit hit and miss as to whether I like them or not. I think it will be better when I get to Honours because I'll actually be able to choose something that interests me within my field, because so far I've been studying a range of things, and I don't like a lot of them. The accommodation isn't worth anywhere near what we pay for it. read full review
