UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING

Enjoying university, but looking forward to specific areas of my degree past first. Make sure the course you choose is what is right for you, and what you imagine it is, because the same course can change in different universities. Make sure you read what each modules you study are. I am enjoying my course but I am looking forward to more opportunities in my 3rd and 4th year. read full review

Good, decent uni, not for those who want a night life like Newcastle but I don't, large campus with okay accommodation a little expensive but im sure its the same in all universities. read full review

Good university with great facilities, the library especially is useful as there are various study zones so if youre wanting to study with friends there is a place for that but there is also a silent study area. read full review

I enjoy most of the uni experience except the workload but that's what im here for. Any advice that I would give is to join a club or sport, not only is it refreshing but also makes the experience better, you meet friends. read full review

I would recommend the uni but not the course. There is a lack of communication between departments. Advice- grab as many opportunities as you can, from early on. Don't say 'I will do it later', do it now, succeed sooner. read full review

Social work Msc

UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING

Teachers are inconsistent in their marking and approach to teaching. Tutor expectations are too high compared to how they teach, the city is nice and there is lots of wildlife. read full review

There is often a lack of study space in uni on busy days and food and drink is overpriced on campus. The uni however is a fun place to be. Work is hard so enjoy yourself over freshers. read full review

My time here at Stirling has been an interesting one, the citt itself is good, there's something for everyone but campus is a while away from the city centre which is annoying when we go on nights out.. The accommodation that I'm in is horrendous, not worth the money I pay at all, and most people agree with me, aside from that I love it here, my tutors are funny and friendly they teach well and offer alot of wisdom, my job prospects are high and I'm extremely confident that I will get a career based job within a year of graduating. read full review
