UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING

Student Reviewer - March 2015

I have been struggling recently, and I was on the verge of dropping out, my tutors however have been amazing, so so supportive and patient with me, my honest advice would be to not mess about, get your head stuck into the work and never be afraid to ask for help. There are lots of groups and services which are there to help you. read full review

Accommodation is too expensive, especially in the new buildings even though they are really nice, clubs and societies are probably the best things about university. read full review

UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING

Enjoying it alot, especially the sports aspect of uni life. The facilities available to students are second to none, and at such an affordable price which is a big bonus. The accommodation aspect could be improved, as the accommodation is either in poor condition or the nicer accommodation is too expensive. read full review

Sociology

UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING

Student Reviewer - March 2015

The staff that teach me are helpful and they run the course very well. The modules have a decent range and usually compliment each other well. The student union is not as expensive as some of the others that I visited, however they do need to be provided with more facilities and better funding. Stirling itself is small and quaint, but the quiet community is very welcoming and the amount of students here make up for the lack of nightlife. read full review

It is good fun here, but planning is essential to successes. And it is important to succeed. Come here and have a great time, and have a look about the campus, as a campus setting is awesome - but it may not be for you. read full review
Stirling is a beautiful campus and a great place to study. It's like a small town where you always bump into someone you know. read full review

Accounting and Finance

UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING

Student Reviewer - March 2015

Very good experience, generally good teaching structure on my course. It is excellent for clubs and societies and sports. The facilities are for the most part very good. University accommodation is highly varied and you do get what you pay for. But there are many better options in town. However the campus is easily one of the best in the UK. read full review

The university is good for the nursing course, the tutors are supportive and we get on well. However the university needs to accommodate more for students who are studying nursing. read full review
