Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at Lincoln Bishop University

Lincoln Bishop is a small, but really friendly University and because of it's size you very quickly get to know people and they work hard to ensure you are aware of all the support on offer. read full review
It easy access to the town centre with shops and food nearby. Steep hill makes this a little bit more inconvenient, I think a shuttle up / down the hill could be a good idea. Whilst lectures are good most of the time and at decent times, they can sometimes be a bit disengaging with no group work or discussion with certain lecturers and also especially at this point in the year lectures feel very repetitive and the information is no longer useful as we have been told it many times before. general vibe of the campus and people is great though and everyone is really lovely. read full review

**Best Aspects of My University Experience**

One of the best aspects of my university experience has been the sense of community. From the start, there were plenty of opportunities to meet people through societies, group projects, and campus events, which made settling in much easier. The diversity of students also created a really enriching environment where I’ve been able to hear different perspectives and make friends from a wide range of backgrounds.

Academically, the quality of teaching has been a real highlight. Most lecturers are knowledgeable, approachable, and clearly passionate about their subjects. The course content is well-structured and relevant, with a good balance between theory and practical application. Access to facilities such as the library, study spaces, and online resources has also made studying more manageable and productive.

Another strong point is the career support available. Workshops on CV writing, interview preparation, and networking events with employers have helped me feel more confident about my next steps after graduation.

**Areas for Improvement**

That said, there are areas that could be improved. Communication can sometimes be inconsistent, particularly regarding timetable changes or assessment deadlines. Having clearer and more timely updates would reduce unnecessary stress.

Additionally, while academic support is available, it can sometimes feel stretched during busy periods. Faster feedback turnaround and more structured academic guidance sessions would be beneficial.

Finally, improving access to mental health and wellbeing services — particularly during peak stress times like exam season — would make a big difference to the overall student experience.

**Overall**

Overall, my university has provided a supportive, engaging, and academically stimulating environment. With improvements in communication, feedback speed, and wellbeing support, it could become an even better place to study. read full review

Lectures very unorganised and unprofessional. Lack of time management skills has meant not covering the content in full and changes to deadlines and expectations of work read full review
Lincoln Bishop has had a friendly and welcoming feel since day one. The lecturers want the best from the students, the course is well organised and thought out, and the campus is pleasant. read full review
I would like to give positive feedback to the university accommodation office for their excellent support. Last month, I had an issue with the laundry dryer, as it did not work even after I paid twice. On the same day, I had an important presentation and was very worried. When I explained my situation to the accommodation office, they were very understanding and supportive. They reassured me and helped by drying my clothes for me without charging anything. My clothes were returned in very good condition. I truly appreciate their kindness, quick response, and willingness to help during a stressful time. read full review
