Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at University of Birmingham

, lovely campus read full review
Good location and student support, but if the food price in the university is controlled to lower than the outside, it will be great. read full review
The campus is quite split - I'm near the hospital so do feel quite separate to the rest of the campus. But it's worth heading there because the atmosphere and facilities are great. read full review
The gym is great but very expensive and over-crowded. The campus is very pretty, however, making a new billion-pound green space was not needed. The money could have spent on student support. read full review

UNIVERSITY OF BIRMINGHAM

Student Reviewer - March 2022

overall good, but requires more study spaces, library facilities and increase security for students (theft) read full review
My overall experience with the university of Birmingham has been absolutely awful, the staff doesn't care at all about the students, the teaching is mediocre and it's not at all what it's made out to be. You don't get anything for your money, no online lectures, no presentations, no student support, just a tutor who would read 30% of your work (according to the new rules of 2021), I'd highly encourage everyone to stay away from this university and look for a better option read full review
I had a very poor experience with the university. I realised at a very late stage that nobody was actually reading my work or correcting it properly. My sessions with the supervisor were always cancelled sometimes with a notification, but most of the time without any notification. The dissertation supervisor don't read your work but they always claim that their grading standards are very high so they will always mark you down but won't bother with supporting anyone read full review
