Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at University of Essex

I'm a commuter student so my experience is a little different to most. I'd say the best parts are the actual course and campus, as they are expansive and offer a lot. The campus is a little hard to navigate, but the commute is nice and easy, as a train station is only a ten-minute bus journey away. As I'm doing a master's degree, my social and Student Union experience is different from an undergrad's: we don't need as much support, so we don't see much from the Union. People love to be quiet too! But, it's overall a good uni :) read full review

UNIVERSITY OF ESSEX

Chinasa - February 2026

The University of Essex is a community that has shared me academically and professionally and I am ready to serve in the community I find my self post study.

My every stay has impacted positively , which I am grateful for.

The aspect which continues to make international student uncomfortable is the aspect of threatening emails received by students to pay school fee.
