I like how much the University of Stirling makes very students from different countries feel at home with all the activities and the festivals celebrated in our university. It's good to know more about each culture that builds awareness and breaks all the stereotypes that existed before. The students are so good, and the university is the most warm place that I have ever seen. But I do feel that there are certain areas where improvement can be done. First, I feel that the university should consider late joiners because it's difficult to understand what the university wants if you enter the university after missing some classes; there can be different reasons for that, but if they can help students with that, it would be a great help. Also, I felt that in the beginning months, it's better to design timetables in such a way that you get more classes with your classmates. Even after two months, getting class with all of the other batchmates is difficult. To build a network and to have a bond, we need classes together so that we are familiar with some of the faces and names at least. Also, I feel that rather than putting the food in the free food area for any particular time, I would appreciate it if it were done at least twice a day since I have seen a lot of students that really need that. These are some of my views about things around me, and I feel that other than that, putting all these inconveniences aside university of stirring is much more satisfying and enjoyable to study. read full review

It is a great place to study but we need support from the university to start a bus service from university to Stirling center like unilink bus because we are already arranging money for our travel via train so its hard for us to buy ticket for unilink bus. So please please start a free bus shuttle service from university of stirling to stirling center. Thanks and looking fromward. read full review
The Student life and Support is great - there are plenty of societies to try out, a great sports centre on campus, a cinema and musical corners. The Student Support Services are always very kind and patient and do their best to help out.
The town itself isn't a party centre, but is a short train ride away from Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The lecturers, especially for my course, are all really enthusiastic about their subject, lead engaging conversations and set ambitious, yet interesting assignments. They make sure that each seminar involves every student sharing their ideas and opinions and ask all the necessary questions.
The only things I can think could be improved are not really from the educational side- there are constructions being led, and have been led consistently across different parts of the campus for the past five years. Don't get me wrong - the campus is brilliant, beautiful, but there hasn't been a year where everything is fully open for the past five years. Other than that, the food outlets on campus are not the best, but there have been concrete efforts made in order to change this this upcoming year. As we were led to understand, the food places will be much better by next semester. read full review
