Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at University of Stirling

I loved the place whether we can talk about the university or the environment the Scottish government provide to the international students. I love how every people help the other person to solve their problem or he/she get happy with the other person's happiness.
I love one thing about the University is how they help students or provide a platform to showcase their skills and how to build some of the skills which can help them overcome real life problems.
I also love the work culture here as the volunteering in societies can also help the students to know about the some of the useful skills which they can use in the corporate culture. read full review
University of Stirling has beautiful campus. The facilities are provided by university is amazing. read full review
The best part is the availability of resources for study. The school's library is well-curated, which has been valuable in carrying out course-based research.

The not-so-good part is that the lectures are not very practical/hands-on, so I have felt sometimes like I was thrown into the deep to figure things out on my own. read full review

MSc Marketing Analytics

UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING

Asad Ullah - February 2024

Best Points:

Of-course the beauty of campus that sets against the breath taking backdrop of the scottish highlands with the campus offering an energising atmosphere for learning. The institution indeed itself holds a solid reputation for producing graduates who meet rigorous academic requirements and who wants to excel in a wide range of subjects, including marketing analytics which is my course and i am so happy taking this course here, also you dont feel homesick as stirling pretty much draws a multicultural population of students from throughout the world, promoting cross-cultural study to a whole new level. I mean I have a course group of 6 members and we all are from different countries. There you go, cultural diversity at its highest.

Worst points:

Understanding the campus and finding your class is very similar to cracking an algebra problem in everyday maths. The corridors are literally like a maze where you just have to look on your phone, cross check with every class door number to find your right way. I have seen majority of students bumping into each other. GOSH! Next, Wifi which is so amazing that it never works when you need it. Big Bump there! I have seen majority of universities giving students discount specially on food items but trust me a tiny Nisa store in the campus, i mean that is cool but if talking about in pounds not that cool definately! It can be quite hefty on your pockets to get your everyday meal from there, also the apparels itself are very costly, I wish to buy myself a stirling American letter hoodie but its 30 pounds so I just prefer walking away from outside the store everyday that ill buy it one day when got an extra cash to gamble with. Outside stirling can be relatively quiet, specifically during weekends and holidays, which may not suit those looking for a raging city life.

In conclusion, even stirling may have its quiet moments and a tiny dull atmosphere, but still it is my campus, no matter however it is. I still love it here and wish to be a proud #stirgrad next year.

The University of Stirling is known for its picturesque campus, strong emphasis on research and diversified academic programmes. Cafes, lake, library, study spaces, superstore inside the campus, these are very impressive aspects of the university according to me. Whenever I am sad or tired with the routine, I always sit somewhere near the lakeside and the natural beauty of that place always helps me to boost up my mood.
however like any institution, there is always a space for improvement. Enhancing career support events, more job or internship fairs could contribute to an even better educational experience. read full review

University of Stirling is best for the study because of some factors which I consider are best here, those factors are faculty expertise, resources which are available for the students not only for study but to excel in their career and life, the opportunities like research, entrepreneurship, cultural excellence as well as personal development are very well planned and organised in a efficient structural model. The support & services for students are enhancing the campus life. Additionally, the programs available for study are align with students academic life and career goals.
Improvements for university growth may include enhancing faculty development programs, investing in state-of-the-art facilities and technology, expanding research opportunities and collaborations, increasing scholarship and financial aid options, fostering a diverse and inclusive campus community, improving student support services in terms of an entrepreneurship, and strengthening ties with industries for internships and job placements. read full review
