Best aspects:
The University of Stirling offers a truly supportive and friendly environment. The campus is beautiful, peaceful, and ideal for focused study, with everything — from accommodation to labs — located within walking distance. The Institute of Aquaculture provides excellent teaching and research facilities, and the staff are approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about student success. The diversity of students also makes it an inspiring place to learn and share ideas.

Worst aspects / areas for improvement:
At times, communication about schedules or events could be clearer and more consistent, especially for international students adjusting to a new system. Some facilities, like older accommodation blocks, could benefit from modernisation. More part-time work opportunities on campus for international students would also be helpful.

The worst aspect is just that sometimes, as an online students, there are things and activities that we miss out on. It's really hard to build a community that can support each other online, and worse if the uni is doing nothing to facilitate that. Welcome week activities for online students would be a good start. read full review
It could be improved by offering better financial support to those in courses such as podiatry as we require to work placements which will impact our income during that time. read full review

The campus is not very well lit at night which makes it hard to navigate for people with visial impairment and disabilities.
