Getting a job after university is never easy. However support services for students were good and my course covered a broad range of subjects. Accommodation is expensive, but reasonable for London prices. The Students' Union is very good, and cheap. The university is also in a good location for clubbing and bars. read full review

I've not been here very long, but I'm happy so far. I feel that Birkbeck is very well respected. It's still early days, but looks promising. The Students' Union is good, but I've not been that often. Overall, I'm satisfied with the course. read full review

The library is excellent and my degree was highly informative, friendly and expert. There are lots of things to do around the university grounds, such as go for nice walks or to the theatre. They need to have more computer stations, however. read full review

I'm not doing this degree for work prospects; purely for my love of studying and knowledge. The bar is good, lectures are great and the staff are lovely. I'm a member of the Philosophical society and enjoy it very much. read full review

The perfect combination of working and acquiring a very relevant and respected qualification in a fast paced city like London. The drawback is there are no sports facilities. The Students' Union is the cheapest bar in London. read full review
