Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at Staffordshire University

Great student support helping you to feel comfortable in your studies, especially in distance learning for HM forces. Great tutors with lots of experience. Studying with Staffordshire have been the best choice I have ever made in terms of studies ! Can only recommend to others ! read full review
Well to be frank, I study a distance learn module. As a student enrolled on the MSc Computer Science degree. I do like Staffordshire University as a whole. However, this year I would say the above metrics as services as reactive, rather than proactive, in order to feel the quality or presence of any of the above services the student must take a proactive approach or potentially, they will get little engagement.

I was able to recognise the student support is good but only after reaching out, the same can be said for all the services. They would be better if they were more proactive in their respective roles. Making an effort to induct, and connect with students at the point of enrolled. For me, this would mean webinars, meetings face-to-face. As a dyslexic student, reading and written channels carry less weight than face-to-face engagement. I can remember things that are said and done peer-to-peer, but the written word goes in one ear and out the other (at times). read full review
Good environment and nice tutors.
Facilities. e.g., separate buildings for self-study, including personal rooms for group studies. Gym and sports like cricket, football, tennis, and badminton.

Overall it's a good uni; it has all the facilities and support as any good place of learning. The only thing I didn't like was the timetable in the first semester, The cafe and canteen serve lovely food and drinks, with something new and interesting always on the menu. read full review
Everything is all fine. read full review
I've supplied average ratings as I can't actually comment on these due to the fact that I am a distance learning student and have not used the campus, facilities, union and or experienced student life!
