UNIVERSITY OF PORTSMOUTH

Zannatul Ferdous - February 2020

It’s only one month but still it’s commendable.so far so good by the way their research facilities is really knowledgeable. Though we have 20hours work permit but it’s really difficult to find job. Till now lots of student didn’t get any job (including me) after all this place is expensive for living we all know it. If student properly help us to get job it will be really appreciated read full review
The BA (at Leeds) was one of the worst experiences of my life. Portsmouth, where I did an MA and current a PhD, is infinitely better. AS I said earlier, I don't engage in much but the course, so extra-curricular stuff simply isn't important to me. The teaching and research facilities have been fine. read full review

Actually I am from India . In earlier I have a fear about how they receive and how they can treat me but after one week it's quite opposites. I'm roaming around uni, met some good people daily, nice talks .it's really amazing experience read full review
Loved it enough here to stay for my masters! The course itself and all staff are fantastic, and Portsmouth has just the right balance of clubs/daytime activites/outdoors spaces. read full review
Loved every second of my post grad! The teaching, field trips and labs have all been awesome. I came from Southampton uni where there was no support and it was all exam based and I hated it there. Whereas at Portsmouth they seem to actually care and want to help you! read full review
I love it here. So much!

The gym is great, located near my building in the middle of the uni. read full review
It’s been challenging as there are so many things I feel weren’t fully covered in class. I have enjoyed meeting students from different parts of the world and learning about each other’s culture. The class structure is what I don’t like we only have lectures on week in a month and I feel this doesn’t help me fully grasp topics. For example we used a day to learn GIS, when GIS itself takes months to learn but our lecturers expected everyone to get it right in just one class. That was crazy. read full review
