Very nice place. Lancaster is a lovely small city and the uni is in the countryside with lots of nature which is nice. There is frequent support offered by the department. The uni does plenty of free food events which is nice.

Unfortunately, Lancaster uni has ties with BAE systems which sends bombs for Israel to use, which I think should be stopped. Further, there have been frequent lecture strikes planned because the uni places threats of mass redundancies and pay cuts despits apparently having the money to still open new shops on campus, and even new campuses in other countries.

Accommodation

The room was very nice and spacious, with an ensuite bathroom and a kitchen that was shared between only 4 people. The location was great, as it was only a 5 minute walk from most lecture buildings and the shops. When I was there a couple of years ago it was £130 per week which is good value, but now it has risen to almost £200 per week for the same room, which is outrageous. The Wi-Fi is Eduroam, which is famously unreliable, but I didn't have many issues with it. And the maintenance staff were friendly, but there were a few issues with the flat, as we lost hot water a few times, and it would often take days for this to be fixed.
