Lots of amenities available to students and tons of friendly staff and support. Good selection of food and drinks venues on campus and a sturdy bus system to get you to and from campus to the wider Lancashire area. Free 1 hour parking for any and everyone with decently cheap prices per hour beyond that.

Library massive with any book you could want, and more than enough private rooms for group based discussions or presentations.

However, without transport such as car or bus, difficult to get to due to it being out the way, as well as the fact that to walk from one end of campus to the other takes around 10ish mins which can be unhelpful if lectures are at opposite ends of campus right after one another.

Met some really interesting people here, however recalling my 1st year of UG, the student flats on campus could be a complete coin flip in regards to the people you get, their cleanliness and also how "on top" management was on handling any issues.

In my experience, the student flats although did the job, was a complete coinflip regarding who was allocated where, as well as the standards that those other people deemed acceptable to live in, impacting my experience especially regarding shared spaces, which were often so untidy I was unable to use them without a deep clean prior. Support for issues regarding housing were also dealt with in a varying amount of time, some issues being dealt with almost immediately, while others remain unresolved by the time I finished my first year.

For my flat specifically, security wasnt very good, with our lock not working and hence people were able to enter our halls very easily, which was even more concerning given the amount of people who don't lock their dorm doors! Wifi was amazing, 0 complaints.
