QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY OF LONDON
Overall Rating

I love Queen Mary!! First of all, they treat students so well! Every week, there are a lot of activities for students, those are free or in cheap price, especially you are living in school accommodations. And they also offer plenty of academic or normal part-time jobs for students. The activities for such as Climate Action Week, LGBTQ+ History Month, making you feel so involved and always have new expectation for the new week and new month. Moreover, one of my favorite place in Mile End Campus is Canal River, so cozy to release your pressure. Most importantly! Our White Chapel library is on a church, I was so shocked when I visited there a few weeks ago. I totally fall in love with that library, even has a pipe organ.

Accommodation

Where I live is at Stratford, the building is Aspire Point, 25 floors in total, at the main road, super safe! There are two economic hotels on both sides of accommodation, if you have family visit, they can live there. You can meet a lot of tourists quite often. They come for ABBA concert, so a lot of grandparents-level tourists drinking at the Ground floor of the hotels after the show in the evening. Nearby there have Post Office, Banks(Barclays, HSBC etc.), SIM card (EE, O2), Boots, Sephora,M&S, John Lewis,Waitrose , Sainsbury’s, Loon Fung Stratford(Chinese Supermarket)and Apple shop You can buy everything you need at Westfield Stratford, only 10mins walk. There also a few tube lines at Stratford, very convenient and quick to go to West London.

The rent includes water and electricity fee. Also free Wifi you can use. There are two doors you need to scan your resident card to enter the building, very safe!

Only 15mins you can arrive at Mile End Campus by bus there are a lot of buses on the main road, there is no need to worry about being late. Or you can like me, run to school sometimes, 30mins only, it’s very comfortable to go for a run in a sunny day.

Come to live in Aspire Point! Enjoy the beautiful night view of East London through you window!
