Corporate Finance MSc

QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY OF LONDON
Overall Rating

My experience studying MSc Corporate Finance at Queen Mary University of London has been largely positive. The course offers a strong balance between theory and practical financial skills, particularly in areas such as valuation, financial modelling, and corporate decision-making. Being based in London is a major advantage, providing access to networking events and career opportunities in a global financial hub. The diverse student community also creates a dynamic and engaging learning environment. However, career support tailored specifically to competitive finance roles could be strengthened, and more direct industry partnerships or internship pathways would further enhance students’ professional prospects.

Student Union

Accommodation

What I like most about the uni’s halls is the convenience and sense of community they offer. The location is great for getting to classes and campus facilities, and it’s easy to meet people from different courses and backgrounds. The amenities, including shared kitchens and common areas, are useful for everyday living and socialising. However, what I like least is the value for money — some aspects of the accommodation feel overpriced compared to the quality and size of rooms. Additionally, occasional maintenance issues and limited private study space can be frustrating, especially during busy periods.
