The mental health support is something that I continually receive, the staff members are SO incredibly helpful supportive understanding and caring. I feel so much better whenever reaching out to them, and by knowing that there’s this wonderful team for me, it does make my life easier. However I have heard many people sharing their experiences, some of them didn’t have the same experience wi had, so it might not be all. read full review
Sheffield university and the students union are amazing at integrating students into the city- through in-house clinic placements that bring members of the local community into the university as well as the volunteering that takes us out into the community.
There is always lots on- sports, societies, opportunities to learn.
These are just the main highlights.
For improvements- some of the lecture theatres were in are quite oppressive and soulless which when you spend hours in these rooms is not so nice. read full review

UNIVERSITY OF SHEFFIELD

Kunal K - October 2026

University of Sheffield is one of the best place I could end up into. When I landed at the University, It took me time to figure out the map and routes , but now i have figured out the way to do so. University building are sometimes complex for me to navigate but many a times it okay to find the lecture hall. The only worst thing I could figure out in the University campus was that the pricing mentioned of the things one could buy is little overpriced, rest I can surely say, University of Sheffield is the Coolest University I could Get into read full review

My one‑year‑plus study experience at the University of Aberdeen has been very rewarding. The MBA programme is well‑structured and covers a comprehensive range of subject areas. Every lecturer I encountered is passionate about teaching. Group assignments in every module have reinforced my awareness of the importance of listening to diverse perspectives.
Meanwhile, I also faced certain challenges. For instance, when disagreements arose within group projects, I had to learn how to resolve conflicts so that we could accomplish shared tasks together. Overall, this has been an unforgettable experience in my life. read full review
What I really like about the University of Sheffield is the friendly and welcoming environment. It’s a great place to meet people from different backgrounds, learn new things and grow both personally and academically. The city also has a nice student atmosphere, which makes settling in easier. One thing that could be improved is career support, especially for international students. It would be helpful to have more guidance on finding graduate jobs, connecting with companies and understanding visa sponsorship opportunities. More support with finding part-time jobs would also make a big difference to students. read full review
