UNIVERSITY OF ESSEX
Overall Rating

The university has good facilities and provides useful academic resources for students. The library and online learning platforms are helpful, and the courses are well-structured with relevant content. It is a good place to study if you are focused and independent.

However, the overall environment could be more welcoming and friendly. Sometimes it feels difficult to approach staff or connect with other students. Improving student support, communication, and creating a more inclusive and friendly atmosphere would make the experience much better.
Student Union

Accommodation

Overall, the university offers decent value for money, especially in terms of academic content and access to learning resources. The library and study spaces are useful, and the campus facilities meet basic student needs.

However, some amenities could be improved, and the overall student experience does not always feel very welcoming. Better communication, more student engagement activities, and improvements in common areas would enhance the value students receive for their fees.
