MSc Nursing (Adult Nursing)

UNIVERSITY OF GREENWICH
Overall Rating

The facilities provided in the Health Sciences department are excellent and lecturers approachable and accessible. Placements are at some excellent, some teaching, hospitals with opportunities for learning that may not be available at universities in other regional hospitals.

The University is split site which is not problematic as such but it does make 'Student life' and 'Campus look and feel' highly subjective.
If you're at the Greenwich campus the 'look and feel' is incredible, union access is simple and student life enhanced by proximity to central London, bars, restaurants etc.
Being based on the Avery Hill campus places you away from all of this - with very limited student life and broadly inaccessible amenities - unless you want to get a bus or train to go anywhere first. It speaks volumes that having been at the university for 2 years I have NEVER been to the union because it would involve a (at time of writing) 54 minute bus journey.
