UNIVERSITY OF GREENWICH
Overall Rating

I didn’t really enjoy my experience. As an international student, I didn’t feel included or supported enough, which made it difficult to feel part of the university community. It often felt like support and inclusion efforts were focused mainly on specific cultural groups, while white international students were left out, as if we didn’t also want to feel a sense of belonging. I also felt disappointed that we didn’t get to engage much with the local English culture.

Accommodation

The accommodation was in very poor condition. There was mould, poor sound insulation, and it was far from everything. It was also extremely expensive for what it offered. The food and coffee places nearby closed very early, which was inconvenient. The bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom wasn’t great, especially in terms of women’s hygiene needs. However, I always felt safe.
