UNIVERSITY OF STAFFORDSHIRE
Overall Rating

The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ most enjoyable aspect of my university journey has been the caring environment-lecturers and staff are both friendly, supportive, and always available to help and guide students. The varied student community and the practical, "learning by doing" method have also been great ways to make my studies more interesting and engaging. I am really impressed with the university facilities, especially the library and the study areas, which make it a nice place to learn. There is only one point that could be raised for the university to improve, and that is the communication about different kinds of events or system changes, because sometimes the students get the information a little bit late. More workshops and career-support sessions for international students would also be great. In general, it has been a very good experience for ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌me.

Accommodation

What I like most:
1. Facilities: Halls are equipped with modern facilities like a gym, common rooms, and well-equipped kitchens that make everyday life comfortable.
2. Community: The experience of the halls' life makes meeting new people and joining social events very easy; hence, a friendly and supportive environment is created.
3. Location: Being close to campus and local shops, the halls are very convenient; thus, the time for traveling is saved.
4. Safety: The security and 24/7 access control give me a sense of safety and comfort.

What you liked least:
1. Value for money: At times, the rent may seem overly expensive for the size of the rooms or the amenities that come with it.
2. Noise Levels: There is a possibility that some halls become noisy and hence, studying or relaxing may be difficult at certain times.
3. Maintenance: Delays in maintenance and cleaning services that occur from time to time can be very disappointing.
4. Shared Facilities: It is sometimes difficult if one has to share a bathroom or a kitchen and they are overcrowded, for example, waiting for one's turn or being ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌cramped.

I like most the sense of community in the halls and the convenient facilities, which make student life enjoyable. The least appealing aspects are the occasional noise and delays in maintenance, which can be frustrating.
