I would like more seating in the library

More vegan options, better prices read full review
The library facility is very good - I like how it is 24/7! The campus is also easy to navigate and the lake is also very pretty! The only thing that could be improved is maybe lowering some of the campus food prices? read full review
Very nice staff and buildings, modern feel. The choice of food and drink could be improved read full review
Doing my BA the teaching staff were mostly phenomenal. It felt like there was a culture of care. I applied for MA Prose and did not get on the course, despite getting a first in my BA. This felt like a big rejection by my home team and I was not given an explanation or anything that felt like meaningful support. The Prose module is elitist and leads to division in my module groups. The Contemporary half of.my course seems very wedded to capitalism and the demands of publishing. The Modernist half seems much better. More creative and less constrained. From BA to MA it feels like the art of literature is lost in favour of fitting us in to capitalist frameworks. It's a bit icky to be honest, and I am not enjoying it anywhere near as much. There is very little help for people who are first generation students with things like PhD applications. You're just expected to be able to get on with it. There is the pretence of supporting those with SPLD but when it comes to things like that, where I need a lot of help, you are mostly left floundering. read full review
What makes UEA great is the people! The professors are hands-on and always there to support and help with research and other aspects of the PhD. PhD students have many great opportunities for PhD students to develop their skills and connect with others. In addition, UEA creates a supportive academic environment, e.g., by offering writing groups, etc., but also fun things such as Cine Club. read full review
