UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM
Overall Rating

Had an incredible four years. Absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend Nottingham if you're looking for a campus university near a buzzing student city. Such a pretty campus, good shops, good nightlife. Perfect size for an 18 year old moving away from home - no chance of getting lostZ

Student Union

It has a boots to provide you boots meal deals for lunch - what more could you want? Apart from that barely entered the students' unions.

Clubs and Societies

Lots on offer.

Accommodation

Halls are pretty pricey compared to my friends other uni experiences at different places. Most houses in lenton are relatively decent prices and good for the money. Never had a bad house. Good student area!

Uni Facilities

Hallward: small, stuffy, lacking books, and decent cafe. Definitely needs an update.

Course and Lecturers

Great course! Spent my third year abroad in Canada without having to do a language course. Work is certainly manageable, and pretty interesting. Range of history topics lacking, especially in my final year.

City Life

Very annoying ticket system. No such thing as a spontaneous night out unless you just go to bars. You have to buy tickets to clubs way in advance if you don't want to end up spending 7 pounds.

Job Prospects

Quite a few careers fairs, workshops to improve CV and talks about particular careers.

Student Support

You have to look in the right places/find the right people. Not particularly easy.

Having said what you have said would you recommend your uni?
