The number of societies that you can get involved with means you can try anything and everything alongside studies. The course is a good challenge and every lecture is something new and interesting. read full review
Life at the University of Southampton has been really enjoyable and well-rounded. There’s a great balance between academic work and social life, with plenty of opportunities to get involved in societies, sports, and events. The campus has a friendly atmosphere, and it’s easy to meet people from a wide range of backgrounds. Southampton itself is a lively and convenient city, with good transport links and lots to do in your free time. Overall, it’s been a welcoming and supportive place to live and study.

My university experience has been both rewarding and challenging in different ways. One of the best aspects is the supportive academic environment. The lecturers are knowledgeable and approachable, which makes learning more engaging and less stressful. I also appreciate the diverse student community, as it gives me the opportunity to interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Additionally, the campus facilities, especially the library and study areas, provide a comfortable space for focused learning.

On the other hand, there are a few aspects that could be improved. At times, communication from the administration can be unclear or delayed, which can create confusion about schedules and deadlines. Another issue is that some facilities become overcrowded during busy periods, making it difficult to find a quiet place to study.

Overall, my experience has been positive, but there is always room for improvement. Better communication systems and more accessible study spaces would significantly enhance student life and make the university an even better place to study.

UNIVERSITY OF GREENWICH

I think the university has a lot of good societies and clubs for students to join, making it easier to meet people and make friends. All the lecturers and staff are really engaged in our learning, they want to support us to do our best and try to make adjustments to the course/assignments where they can to help us. I do think the buildings could be better for people with disabilities, such as more automatic doors, ensuring lift maintenance is a priority and putting card scanners for doors in a accessible location. I also think it would be good if there was options to pick up extra modules or tutoring for those that need help with English or want extra help/studies on certain elements of their course or want to learn something new on the side. read full review
Best parts: access to loads of learning materials
Worst parts: not much free activities, communication with student union isn’t great so I tend to miss out on activities which impacts my social life and mental health
Also the school doesn’t provide support with finding a placement read full review
NTU offers the best student support, academic staff are already available to answer module related questions and library staff and resources are available 24/7. The social life at NTU is equally great and lots of freebies for students read full review
