Reviews of Postgraduate Courses

The reviews below were submitted by students currently studying postgraduate courses at UK universities. Reviews contribute towards the Whatuni Student Choice Awards, which celebrate student satisfaction in higher education and offer insight into postgrad life at university.

Awful. The school placements are great, because I love teaching, but that is zero to do with Chester. The uni are useless when it comes to the paperwork, they regularly just ask you to come into uni for no reason, and have no problem sending you 30 miles away for a school placement. There is a severe lack of consideration about the impact of their decisions on the students. read full review

It is stimulating, multidisciplinary, and life-enhancing. I wish I'd embarked on academic research earlier. In general staff/PGR interaction is splendid which improves the experience. Additionally, opportunities for involvement in general university representation abound, as do opportunities to contribute to public engagement activities. read full review
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at UEA, the city & campus are lovely-don't get put off by the initial feel of concrete! After 5yrs here I can definitely reccomend! read full review
Poor. The students are great and so are the pubs but the uni is a disaster. No compensation for lectures missed from strikes, no money and funding for mandatory things suck as getting a poster printed or binding work. There's no cafe and the. Quality of support is non existent read full review
My experience has been positive and I have recommended the course to others. I think the course challenges me in a good way and makes me think in different ways. It is a good step for my own personal and professional development. read full review
Enjoyble, I recommend it to any students considering Portsmouth as a uni. Good access to facilitaties and most things are in walking distance. Lectures are helpful read full review
Satisfactory, highly knowledgeable staff, okay lecture facilities, good access to resources. A nice and accessible city. Good social life. Support can be hood, but have to work for it read full review
