Overall, its one of the best uni, and cares about as an individual. The students and staffs are friendly and can be approached anytime. The courses are not that much overstraining and you can participate in other activities as well. read full review

So far, I think if giving my one more chance, I can not go to university in abroad until my English is very good.

Practise your English. If your language is not good, you will feel bad. read full review
I have been at this University for 5 years now and love it. I started doing my undergrad and got offered a free masters. This then led me to a PhD opportunity. My PhD is in a different area than my undergraduate degree but the variety of subjects and opportunity this university provides allowed me to change area this early in my career. read full review

Music PhD

UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW

Carey - November 2019

I find my experience so far very isolating. As a student who researches a very interactive subject, I don't have nearly enough interaction sponsored by the university. I feel unsupported as a foreign student from the US and that all I am is a walking checkbook to take from.
I'm concerned about the lack of baroque music played on campus and the lack of faculty led music ensembles. Despite this I have found decent advice in my advisors.
I only wish there were more traditional spaces on campus and less neutral, more darker colors. read full review
